Mike Skrbich

Mike Skrbich
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mike serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of EWS. He has a proven track record of results in building, scaling, and transforming businesses. Mike began his career at Schlumberger as a field engineer and quickly progressed through the ranks into operations management. He was recognized early as a leader who could fix, build, or grow an organization. Following his time at Schlumberger, Mike led the flex pipe systems business at Shawcor, and he was later promoted to President of Shawcor Inspection Services. Most recently, before joining EWS, Mike served as President of Wellmatics, a division of GR Energy Services. Mike has held global positions at Schlumberger and Shawcor in Sales, Training and Development, and QHSE. He holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School.

Colin Lindsey

Colin is Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing where he leads manufacturing, site design, and deployment at EWS. He has over 15 years of global engineering and project management experience. Prior to his time at EWS, Colin served as Engineering Manager atShawCor where he led multidisciplinary teams, managed a variety of complex engineering projects and was responsible for CAPEX budgets nearing $100mm. His leadership and innovation was recognized in 2013 by receiving the Spotlight on Technology Award at the Offshore Technology Conference. Colin earned an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University; he also has a BA in Physics from Austin College.

Brad leads business development efforts for EWS with a focus on the Appalachian Basin. He has 20+ years of sales experience with over 10 years focused on the energy industry. At New Pig Energy, which provides containment solutions, Brad led business development and assisted in operations; he also worked with state regulators and producers to identify best practices for the containment space. Brad served as Chief Operating Officer for another energy service company that supplies rental tools, containment solutions and general roustabout services. He has certificates in environmental studies, strategic selling and geosynthetic installations.

Vrutika Patel

Vrutika Patel is Controller for Energy Water Solutions where she is responsible for accounting and finance-related operations. She also leads HR and oversees corporate compliance.
Vrutika brings over 10 years of global experience in accounting, staff management, and customer and vendor relationship management. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai with honors and immediately began her career with U.S-based biofuel company BioUrja Group. Vrutika advanced quickly at BioUrja and was transferred to its headquarters in Houston where she worked directly with executive management and trade staff. In addition to biofuels, she also gained exposure to power, grain and metals markets at BioUrja.

Chuck Hanebuth is a founding member of Energy Water Solutions, and he has played key executive roles throughout the company’s history. As one of the inventors of EWS’s patented technology, Chuck has intimate knowledge of the company’s processes, capabilities and value provided to customers. Chuck continues to deliver expert-advisor support to EWS in operations, sales and product line enhancement.

Steve Shiner is one of the inventors of EWS’ patented technology, and he has over 40 years of progressive environmental and process engineering, project management and operations experience in the energy, solid waste, wastewater, specialty chemicals and food industries. Steve has designed wastewater treatment systems for areas as diverse as the Tar Sands in Alberta to a research station in Antarctica. He has experience in hydraulic fracturing design and oil and gas operations as District Engineer for a major service company. Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in Environmental Engineering and has also been principally involved in the treatment-for-reuse and evaporation of produced water for the past thirteen years.
