Chief Executive Officer

Gregg has more than 30 years of global operational experience in a wide variety of geographies, industries and technologies, in the Oil & Gas, Power, Distributed Generation, and Industrial markets. Gregg is particularly effective bringing new Technology and Service Offerings to market. Gregg’s extensive experience in the global natural gas production, transportation and distribution industries provide an excellent background for addressing the increasingly challenging issue of effectively managing the waste water associated with today’s energy exploration and production environment.

Paul Kleinen


Paul is a seasoned engineering and technology executive with extensive energy sector experience executing capital projects for geographic growth and capacity expansion, developing and commercializing technology, and delivering new products and technologies for companies in Canada, the U.S. and internationally. He will ensure that innovation and technology-driven excellence will continue to power EWS’s product development initiatives while establishing a safe, reliable manufacturing organization to deliver quality products to meet customer requirements.

Chuck Hanebuth


Chuck is a seasoned executive in the software and technology services space, with a 20+ year track record of success in nearly every aspect of the industry. Chuck’s career experience covers the entire energy life cycle, and has particular focus on the natural gas industry. Chuck’s deep roots in custom software design and package implementation gives Energy Water Solutions a solid foundation for the systems necessary to construct and operate an integrated water network.

Steve Shiner

Executive VP, Engineering

Steve has 30+ years of progressive environmental engineering, project management and operations experience in the energy, solid waste, wastewater and specialty chemicals industries. Steve has been the primary design engineer for wastewater treatment systems for areas as diverse as the Tar Sands in Alberta to a research station in Antarctica. He has experience in hydraulic fracturing design and operations as District Engineer for a major service company, and has been principally involved in the treatment-for-reuse of produced water for the past six years.

Grant Sifers


Grant has extensive experience in strategic financial planning and oversight for both E&P and oilfield services organizations. Prior to joining EWS, Grant worked in both operational planning and corporate accounting and internal audit at Newfield Exploration, and earlier served in corporate financial reporting and consolidations at Halliburton. Grant began his career in audit and assurance services and is also a registered CPA in the state of Texas.
